Kinderdijk

These are some of the 19 Kinderdijk windmills, in the Netherlands, built around 1740 to pump excess water from the polder. Kinderdijk windmills were classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The photo shows the so called “Overwaard molens” number 4 (in foreground) to number 8
